I'm Sian,
Being born and raised in London, life has always been fast paced for as long as I can remember...
When I left school, I started a secure job working for a well-known bank at head office. After 5 years I became pregnant with my son, took maternity leave and was offered redundancy at the same time so decided to be a stay-at-home mum. I made this decision because I didn't want to miss a second of those special times with my baby, I wanted to see him reach those all-important milestones before he started reception.
After a few years my family and I moved to Hampshire, mainly for a better quality of life in more tranquil surroundings. I started working a part time job as a shift manager for a convenience store chain, this was a stop gap while I decided on a career choice. The plan was to leave once my son moved on to secondary school but through changes and losses within our family unit he began to struggle, this meant as a single parent, I would have to put my plans on hold. So, I stayed at my job at the time, to enable me to support him while he needed time to heal.
I am very family orientated, my family literally is my whole world and are they are so supportive in everything I do for both me and my son.
A few years ago, I sort of stumbled into crafting when my mum saw a box frame she liked online, and I thought I could give it a go and try to make one myself for her birthday that year. I absolutely loved the challenge and the end product, safe to say my mum loved it and so did everyone else when they saw it. That was when I really discovered that I have such a love for crafts.
I have a passion for being creative, crafting special gift pieces that focus on family, love, positivity, motivation etc...
I like my products to be different to what the market already has to offer.
I feel that although I still need to be there to support my son, he is in a much better place and now is the time to try to focus on what I want to do in life. I have a plan of where I want to go and how to achieve it with my new business venture.
Customer satisfaction is very important to me. As a natural perfectionist, I aim to make sure that I get things right. To ensure my gifts are different from the usual and are loved by my customers, just as much as I love them.
